Process of I-130?

Hello everyone I was just wondering what is the process of the I-130 and how long does it take to hear or receive anything from them?

I just got married in Sāo Paulo on May 28,2011 and sent the I-130 July 13th. Also I sent them in the US to Chicago.

So please help me out I kinda really want my husband to be in the US soon =\

Thanks.

(P.S. : He was removed from the US in February)

April 2007- Met while I was in sophomore year in high school by his house

December 16th 2010- engaged

May 28th 2011- married in Sāo Paulo<3 <3

July 13th- Sent I-130

July 15th- I-130 received

July 18th- received NOA1

August 1st - touched

Sept....Oct..Nov...Dec...Waiting -__-

January 24th- received NOA2 via email

January 27th- recieved NOA2 hardcopy

February 1st- NVC received

February 7th- got my case number

February 7th- got the IIN number

February 10th- payed AOS fee

February 14th- AOS PAID!

February 15th- payed IV fee

February 16th- IV PAID!

February 23rd- sent AOS & IV packages to NVC

February 24th- packages delivered at NVC

February 29th- recieved checklist

March 5th- sent back checklist items

April 30th - interview

Ok, well it sounds like you have a complicated case which will lengthen your time away from your husband

You're looking at at least 5 months at USCIS, then another 2-3 at NVC and then the interview

Now, when you say 'removed' what do you mean? Why was he removed? What does that mean?

Biometrics - June 2, 2011 (early)
Approval - November 9, 2011
209 DAY TRIP TO REMOVE CONDITIONS

Citizenship

April 29, 2013 - NOA1 for petition received

September 10, 2013 Interview - decision could not be made.

April 15, 2014 APPROVED. Wait for oath ceremony

Waited...

September 29, 2015 - sent letter to senator.

October 16, 2015 - US Citizen

It's hard to say when he will be able to come. It could be up to a year or so. If he was removed from the US because of overstaying a tourist Visa there are ways to work around this. A way to prepare yourself for what might come would be to search this site for what he was removed from. Like "removed due to overstay" and people might have already answered how to get around this problem. Check for posts from JimVaPhuong. He really knows his stuff, and has possibly answered this kind of question for someone else already. Good Luck!
