If you're a serious horror buff I recommend the French movie Martyrs - very gory and hard to watch in places but it makes you think. The French have made some good horror movies in the last decade or so - some recent French movies make Saw look like a Disney flick.

I'm schooling Govi on the classic age of American horror - last on the Netflix queue, Jaws, next: Texas Chainsaw Massacre, next: The Exorcist.

My mom took me to the drive in when all these movies came out - I was 6-8 years old at the time - ah, the '70s.
