I just find it extremely dishonest to be angry when someone wants to keep what is rightfully theirs to begin with.

It's like You having two TVs in your home and government deciding you don't need two TVs because then that wouldn't be fair to everyone who has one TV in their home. So they take it and give away to someone else.

Who "needs" hundreds of millions of dollars or billions as an indivduals? No one does. However that does not mean that you are automatically entitled to their money, just because you don't feel they 'need' it.

The point is, taxation exists to collect money from everyone to keep government functioning on a need-be basis (though much of it these days isn't need based). If government decides that you can keep more of your money, that you earned, then it shouldn't be thrown back in someone's face and make them out to be 'evil' for doing so.

You still get to keep zillions of dollars if your rich, Paul. You're making it out to seem like the big bad government wants to redistribute wealth so that everyone goes lower middle class. A bit rich if that's how you really feel about money, taxes, etc, being an accountant and all.

The only way to get free money now is for your kids, and that's why we have this problem to begin with. The number of children someone has dictates the amount of money they get. This is also why it's better to remain unmarried.

Your best bet for getting free money quickly and permanently is to impregnate an unemployed woman and then mooch off her while you float between jobs. Work somewhere for a few weeks - she'll get the money - and then while you're out of work, the government will make up the difference. You both get paid!

In case you skipped right over my post, I pointed out the hypocrisy of stripping criminals of their rights and society being OK with that but when it came to the free money people, they all the sudden grew a conscience. I don't get it either.
