Good morning,

I got a letter today stating that our petition for my AOS got transferred back to Lees Summit, MO. Ive tried to search here, and really only found 3 current postings in the last 3 years about this. My timeline has all my dates current for bio and transfers ect. From what I read on the few postings does this mean were going to be interviewed ? Or does anyone else know what happens at this stage ?

Does the transfer notice say, 'because they now have jurisdiction over the case?' It seems like you will most likely be getting a letter for an interview from your local office soon.

Without a doubt yes. It's not that big of a deal though, sometimes people with interviews get their GC's quicker than those that don't have interviews. So just gather you evidence.

Also, don't think that this is a bad thing. Some people theorize it's just about quotas. Some people it does mean they think fraud, but most of the time it's just quota-filling.

Yes. That is what ours said. You should be getting a notice for an interview soon then. Our interview was really short and simple(like we were a random pick for their quota fill), so don't worry too much about it getting transferred back. Start pulling together any joint account evidence, originals for the documents you sent in, photos, etc.
