I must be really weird for a Russian  I had an actual mop back in Russia for years and in my family people always would put everything to the fridge. In fact... I don't think I know anybody, who wouldn't. I know Gary always talks about it, but it's just so weird to me.

The onlything is that Russians don't keep their bread in the fridge. Russian bread can't be good for weeeks anyways, just for a couple of days.

Men who choose from the available RUB women in their area of the USA differ gratly in their relative perspective of RUB women from those of us that have been to RUB countries and know what is available :P

I am not the only one that has mentioned this, I may mention it more often than others, but then I have THREE Ukrainians to keep up with which means I have to be the LAST one to upstairs every night!

What's ABC, duh man... er, huh man?

The Peruvian dude married a blonde USC (a nice one, however). I'd still like to know whether RUBbettes who are now here use the rags-on-sticks.

In regard to the ice cream, the asymmetry isn't the only clue that someone here has been into it unauthorizedly -- if the craters in the carefully molded plateau of chocolate ice cream have traces of strawberry in them, someone has not only been pilfering but has been mixing flavors! With apologies to adherents of Napoleon, ice cream should be eaten one flavor at a time ("flavour," if in Canada) and never comingled, no man. Not enough by itself to kick anyone's shapely hindquarters back to Ecuador, no man, but it accumulates as a black mark, see man...

And, should anyone think that the criminalization above is unfair, dig this, Caped Crusader: The offender is not moi; the cat lacks opposable thumbs and won't eat chocolate ice cream anyway, even when offered it from a people-spoon; Mini-Bone hasn't crawled that far yet; and the ants in the kitchen can't open the freezer door, even en masse. Ergothuswithforthly., the culprit is...

Speaking of which, what do RUBbettes think about sharing one's food (between bites of one's own) with the cat, huh man?

I don't know that meaning...I googled it but didn't come up with anything.

I guess the "A" could stand for "American". And the "B" could stand for "Born". But what does the "C" stand for?

Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Uh, guess I'll never learn the answer to the first question, no man. So, man:

The wife's cat cost me close to a grand to fly here from Belarus. That cat gets fed Science Diet something or other for dry food, Fancy Feast Ocean Whitefish and Tuna for canned food (3 times daily), Tuna flavored treats in a foil package...she get's two treats at night, and whenever we pop open a can of tuna we put the can on the kitchen floor so she can get eat whatever's left over in said can.

But the big thing for this cat is yogurt. I'm not sh*tting you...me or the wife can open a thing of yogurt while this cat is sleeping and she's on it in a NY second. I mean she gets the lid for whatevers on it, and then we leave a little in the container (small yoplait ones) and she sticks her paw in it and licks her paw like it's a spoon. She will work a yogurt container until it's clean as it was first made.

Cold bread sounds gross. I think people put it in the freezer if they buy a bunch of loaves in advance at costco or whatever, but I don't know anyone who keeps it in the fridge.

Alla will not put bread in the fridge or freezer. Are you kidding????????? She warms her orange juice if I am so unruly as to put it in the fridge!

American. British. Canadian.

Think "RUB" only ...different

Alla brought a cat and a dog. They were more problems and just about as expensive as bringing two extra people.

The dog will eat anything Alla eats. If she is eating an orange and gives the dog a piece, the dog eats oranges.

Both the dog and the cat are female and they are both about the same size (persian and pekinese) and the dog is continually humping the cat and the cat likes it!

Alla tells people we "had to" move to Vermont so the

lesbian trans-species animals could get married legally.

didn't you say Alla took the cat with her to Ukraine? I was thinking of taking my cat to America with me next summer if I have to be there for a month or two for visa reasons. Is it expensive??

It's not expensive if you don't screw up like I did. The cat can be taken as a "carry on". Where I messed up was when I ordered the plane tickets via travelocity and Kira flew out of Kyiv. The problem was from Kyiv to Paris it was Ukrainian Airlines (which allows cats) but the way the ticket worked it was Air France (which allows cats) that had purchased X amount of tickets from Ukrainian airlines and those two didn't have a deal between each other in regards to pets even though both allow pets. The only way I could have fixed it so the cat could fly as a carry on from Kyiv to Chicago would have been to cancel the ticket and purchase from Ukrainian airlines from Kyiv to Paris. The cat ended up flying solo from Minsk to Chicago via Lufthansa where Kira picked her up from Customs and she flew as a carry on from Chicago to Anchorage.

So before you purchase your ticket make sure all the airlines you will be flying have a deal with each other in regards to pets as carry ons.

Make sure you have the cats shot records and proper sized pet carrier also.

No, they have never left here since arriving with Alla 3 years ago ...today!

To bring them here we had to have rabies shots and carriers for the airlines and then had to pay (we thought) $100 each to get on the plane. But that turned into $400 and only one could go in the plane with her, the other had to go in baggage. The cat lost. We also had to pay a bribe for the border people to fake a Ukrainian health certificate for the animals. That is supposed to be issued by the grand poobah of Ukrainian animals but we did not have time so we took the advice of others and had $50 for each animal as a bribe. Worked. Imagine my surprise.

When they arrived they had to be inspected by a veteranarian which was not a big deal but waiting for the vet to show up WAS a big deal. It took a couple of hours. Alla was already done and processed and waiting at the special baggage claim office for the animals.

I do not know what it would take to bring animals INTO Russia

Alla just did the floors and used a rag on a broom because she said she didn't feel lie getting on her knees to do the floor with a rag in her hand. Does it count?

Alla shares food with the dog somtimes, never the cat.
