Hi all! I just have a concern here regarding my G-325A about my mother's birthplace. I was trying to fill up my G-325A for my AOS when I checked the file we had submitted before for my K1 petition,Sta. Cruz, Manila was written there. But when I checked my birth certificate, it says Tondo,Manila. So I'm totally confused now on what I'm going to write there. I do want to put her birthplace that's being typed on my birth certificate. You think I'll be RFE'd for this? Any enlightenment please. Thanks! smile.gif

It might come up, but I doubt you'll be RFE'd. Answer honestly, and, if it comes up, you have a more than plausable explanation. It's an extremely immaterial fact of the case and I would be very surprised if they made an issue of it.

But have your explanation and a copy of her certificate ready should it become a problem.

You could attach a page explaining this, but I personally think it'll be unnecessary and draw too much attention to something that doesn't matter. But that's just my opinion. Do what you feel is right.

Type what's on official document (birth certificate). Mistakes happen and you should be fine, I don't think they will send you RFE for that (but if they do you can explain that it was a mistake). Parents' birth places are not that important anyway.
