Timeline

How long would the train ride take? I assume it won't be non-stop.

Probably a couple of weeks. But you can pick up some RUB chicks on the way back.

if it's anything like trying to get from point A to point B in the US via train, you're looking at a 5 day journey to get there LOL.

Or more. But yeah, if they do it right it could be 1-2 days. That might be worth it if you pass through Siberia during daylight and the cost is at par with airfare.
