Its not a "ticker" per se - if you refresh the page, it displays those links at the top, they seem to differ depending which thread you look at. I'm not sure if any Adblock extensions will hide it. I'm using Firefox too BTW.

If that doesn't work - try going out of the thread and clicking back in.

Honestly, I've never seen any links connected to VJ for ads, ever. In fact, I've wondered for awhile how this site stays afloat financially? Somebody's got to be paying for it?
