Hey fellow VJers,

I am back from my visit with Melinda in the Philappines and while I was there the K-3 petition was sent to the Manila Embassy.

Is there a case number now for the K-3 now that it is at the Embassy?

How can I find out what that case number is?

How do I track it now that it is at the Embassy?

What is in the first packet that they will send Mel?

What is in the second packet that they send Mel?

Alot of questions but at this point in the process I am clueless.

Thanks for any help,

Rob and Melinda

Greetings!

You mentioned that K3 is approved and that it is already in Manila Embassy, right?

1.The new case number starts with MNL2006xxxxxx.

2. TO track your case all you got to do is call US Embassy and tell them your new manila case number. All you got to do is wait for the packet.

3. You will only recieve one packet from the Embassy that contains the instructions, requirements, medical, and visa interview appointment.

p.s. are you going to for the k3?

correction: Are you going for the K3 visa?

Rob,

The case number should be on the notice sent to you by the NVC advising you that they have received the approved petition from the USCIS and will forward it to the consular section in Manila.

Don't expect to be able to 'track' what's goes on at the IV unit like you can the USCIS.
