Here are the CSC and VSC data and graphs that I use to generate my estimates as a Word file. VJ_Data_Sept_17_2006.doc

These graphs and charts may be a good complement to Gary's work if you talk with a Member of Congress.

Among the highlights:

June NOA1's

CSC approved 37 39% waiting 58 61%

VSC approved 29 78% waiting 8 22%

July NOA1's

CSC approved 9 11% waiting 70 89%

VSC approved 13 72% waiting 5 28%

August NOA1's

CSC approved 2 2% waiting 80 98%

VSC approved 17 71% waiting 7 29%

Also waiting at CSC:

March 21 16%

April 22 23%

May 30 30%

I will update this again about Oct. 1.

While I may personally benefit from CSC approving June and July apps before they are done with March, April and May, I am not happy about it. I wish they would go in order!

Tom,

You wish this without knowing why the March, April, and May petitions have not yet been completed? Those older petitions are likely waiting on something, could be any number of things - e.g. IBIS hits, outstanding RFEs, follow-up on IMBRA issues - before they can be completed. USCIS staff should kick back and wait, and let newer petitions that can be acted on sit idle in the meantime?

Not at all! But I get the sense from Michelle, Jabree and several others that they have done everything they should, and that there is no evidence that CSC is even looking at their files. Also, suppose that what you say is true, that EVERY March, April and May file is waiting for something. Then CSC should be doing the June ones next. Again many of those people show no evidence of activity. That's just not fair.
