So a few days ago we received our text/email confirmation notifying us that our petition had been sent to Vermont Service Center for processing. I've heard about terribly long wait times over the last year. Has it been as bad recently? Can any other Canadian filers comment on wait times through VSC?

my friendly advice to you in order to go through this process with the least of pain: do NOT expect nothing for at least 4 months. It's the best advice I could give you ..cause in case It might come earlier at least It's gonna be a pleasant surprise. good luck!

Canadians are processed at any of the centers.

VSC was the fast one at several times and this situation changes from time to time. when I filed my petition it was assigned by where you live (I drive by the VSC every day) And it was processing petitions 2-3 times faster than California.

At least with a Canadian fiance(e) you can visit each other without visas and the travel almost free compared to going to other countries.

I have seen about 90 days recently, September always slow their end of fiscal year.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
