NavyK,

Also i need to mention, my passport is cancelled couple of times due to printing error and spouse name addition.

do i need to show any proof why my passport is cancelled many times (thrice) during this one year.

Are CO's very much concerned about old passports?

do we get any letter from passport office showing why my passports are cancelled many times a year?

Gov of india is issuing new passport for every change or correction. thats y it happened.

kindly reply. also do you know anyone who went through similar situation

The US Consulates are aware of the Indian Government rules and should be aware of the fact that any change results in a new Passport issue. So I don't think that should be an issue but if you have some kind of relevant information, it is good to take.

I hope someone who had interview with similar situation also responds.

As I have stated before If you can think of ANY scenario good or bad that can happen, the C.O. can think of this as well.

To fully be prepared think of ALL ANGLES ( + and -) and think of a way to be ready to solve this problem if it occurs.

If you do not, you are not fully prepared. If you have an issue during the day of the interview you have no one to blame but yourself.

I was able to get thru this process quicky and more so able to sleep at night do to thinking and preparing in this manner.

My wife was a big help for this as she was just as pro-active as I was.

wats document submitt to vfs mumbai interview 12-06-2011 interview date

Please take a look at your interview letter, which spells out the documents that need to be submitted at Interview. In addition to those you will need to pay courier fee of INR 387.00. Sometimes the Medical report is submitted at VFS (we didn't). But when you go to VFS to pay the courier fee, they need a copy of your passport (Biographic pages only), Interview letter and 3 passport photos. They do not take the additional evidence documents like emails, skype.... - They take only the required documents to be submitted.

Also see in this thread in the earlier pages we already mentioned all the documents that are required to be submitted at VFS/ Interview.

Dave & Kinnari:

1) How will know where my VFS is located? address of the New Delhi VFS I guess is what i'm asking since the interview should be happening in Delhi Embassy.

2) How & when will I know what doc & payment to submit to VFS?

I'm still waiting for NOA2 so all these head on information are bit confusing as i've not arrived at that point yet.

Thank you! :)

Yes it is.

VFS is an outsourcing visa company for the US Consulate's in India. Basically they are the middle man between you and the consulate and they are the ones that issue your visa once you get the approval from the U.S. consulate.

They require you to pay a courier fee and submit certain documents 10 days prior to the interview.

I am not sure exactly what VFS requires for Fiancee visas.

Looks like i found my answer to VFS address here: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=India&cty=Delhi

VFS OFFICE ADDRESSES ARE LISTED BELOW:

NEW DELHI

International Trade Tower S-2 Level

Nehru Place

New Delhi - 110019

Telephone number: 42220000

But i think these info should be given to me or to the beneficiary in future, when we get closer to it.

hmmm.....still a bit confusing..

This is about evidence for proof of relationship. I have just realised that we do not have any "love letters/ emails". In a way I am happy because I did not want to expose such stuff, but, is it ok? Phone records is really everything I have. I know my husband for 10 years now but I am simply amazed that we have nothing. I can answer any question about our relationship but with nil proof.

Hi guys,

my wifes' interview is coming soon on 11/23/2011 at Mumbai and i am wondering if i have covered all the documents for the interview,

1)Passport (original and copy) 2) Passport 2X2 Photographs( she made 40 copies..lol) 3) Interview letter 4)Copy of birth certificate 5) copy of marriage certificate 6)Police certificate from passport office (copy) 7) local police clearance (Original) 8) Medical reports 9)AOS complete package (Me and Joint sponsor) 10)phone records, mail receipts, marriage album. 11) wifes' school leaving certificate, College degree 12) My passport photocopy with stamps indicating visit for the marriage.

She is not taking the DS-230 copy with her because i don't have a copy and she had to fill out Ds230 again at the VFS office on 11/14/2011. Also, i did not make the copies of the original AOS packet but i filled the I864 forms again, signed it and scanned her with all the required documents that were included with the original packet(including the coversheet and payment receipts), the only difference is the date as I re-signed the forms, so my question is will this(different dates on sponsor form) be an issue during her interview?

i already sent NVC Original AOS packet with additional photocopy set of AOS packet.

If you can think of any additional document to take during the interview please let me know... thanks in advance for your feedback

Take what all you have an go with confidence and you will be fine - apart from photos they didn't ask most of us any other proof of evidence.
