So most/if not all of the documents we already submitted with the DS-230 packet they are requiring in Packet 4.

Are we to submit these again? Seems redundant. Makes no sense to me at all...

No the letter is clear. It is the Appointment packege for us, who submitted the documents at NVC. Packet 4 is applicable to others - K1 visas.

Applicant must submit all the documents to VFS as specified in the “Appointment package” or “Packet 4” (those which pertain to your case).

Nope. Someone who had got one can attach a file editing personal details - If not done yet, I will do after I get an interview letter.

Does anyone know whether the petitioner also gets a copy of the interview letter email or just the beneficiary only (I, the petitioner, got a copy of DS-3032 email).

Yes, petitioner as well as beneficiary receives the interview letter email.

NavyK & Dave just wanna let you guys know that one of my friend's wife went for an interview in July said that you only have to drop off your passport, medical report, courier fee, passport size picture,any other documents which you didn't submitted at NVC stage, and interview letter 10 working days prior to the interview day. Proof of relationship documents can be turned in at the time of the interview.

My husband is going to go drop off all these documents to VFS office next Monday so we will see what other documents they will ask him to submit and then I will let you guys know so you will know what sort of procedure is required before interview day.

My friend also told me that a copy of our interview letter is enough to enter inside the building on the day of the interview.

NavyK & Dave just wanna let you guys know that one of my friend's wife went for an interview in July said that you only have to drop off your passport, courier fee, passport size picture,any other documents which you didn't submitted at NVC stage, and interview letter 10 working days prior to the interview day. Proof of relationship documents can be turned in at the time of the interview.

You are going to turn in the actual passport to them or a copy of the passport? I would think they would use the passport and official interview letter as an I.D. to get into the consulate.

We might have my wife drop off these items a lot earlier than 10 days as we are going to schedule her medical within a few days after she receives her interview notice. We can get all 3 things done in one trip to A'bad. PCC, VFS and Medical.

As far as what I have read on VFS website it says that you cannot turn in more than 10 working days or less than 7 working days prior to the interview. But I will tell my husband to ask them and see what they say. I'll let you know once I find an answer from my husband.

I would appreciate any info you can give me.

Is your husband taking originals or copies of the documents to submit to VFS? Is he going to carry in the medical himself or turn it in to VFS?
