Well if you are going to go claim facts, at least back them up with links that support your position. These are privately funded scholarships. These have nothing to do with your claim. lol

You think you could do a better job of finding the scholarships that suit you? Then, why didn't you? Unless your fingers are broken, nothing was stopping you. Next time, do it yourself. I have better things to do.

Not provoking, just instructing.

While it's not the most popular view out there, my solution actually is becoming closer and closer to a reality. Far from there, but if Obama were to pass an amnesty or simply this work authorization and allow illegals to stay... and then if Ron Paul were to win and end all social problems and legalize drugs.... poof, it's exactly what I've said this country needs for years. Amnesty and then end the social progams and it's survival of the fittest out there.

Thanks for the details. Seems pretty clearly written.

Ummmmm, yeah for the groups they are entitled for. Geez, you have to stop putting things together. You have this habit of putting a fact with a falsity and then claiming the whole thing as fact, or a fact with an opinion and then claiming it as fact. Post after post, you do the exact same thing.

Are privately funded scholarships not competitve?

You don't have a solution. You have a capitulation. Do you raise your kids to expect that they can sneak around, cheat, lie to get anything they want? Don't be such a DFH freak; limits and rules are good for social order.

Ya, private scholarships are primarily for certain groups. That doesn't make them less significant when American students who qualify are competing against illegals who should have been deported instead of rewarded.

You dodge facts and reality because they are inconvenient for you.

My children learn good Christian values, right from wrong, and make wonderful decisions.

Are you a Socialist? I think I'm done arguing with you.

It absolutely makes them insignificant to an American student if he/she is not the intended applicant.

That is like saying a white student is being treated unfairly because the NAACP gave their scholarship to a black student. Or it's like saying a black student is being treated unfairly because some large hispanic organization gave their scholarship to a hispanic.

I think what is really occurring here is you are simply jealous. Are you the Morrocan or the USC? Yes, muslims have an extremely difficult time integrating into US society, and it will take years of goodwill and proof on the part of muslims for many to give them a fair shake. But don't go knock hispanic organizations. Hispanics have proven over almost over a half century what values and hard work they bring to the table. One day perhaps muslims will as well, but for now when I think muslim I think airplanes. It will take a lot of work on the part of "good" muslims for many many folks, myself included, to overcome that judgement. By the way, if a muslim organization wants to offer up a scholarship, I don't think you hear Christians whining about it, do you?

Muslims in the US do quite well, than you. We've been here for decades, come in all colors, races, and nationalities, own more businesses, make more money than most of you, are better educated then most of you and are quite integrated into American society, for our numbers. We don't need your good will much, thank God.

Ohhhhhhh, now I see. Black Americans born into faith. That explains your last post perfectly... "We own more businesses, make more money, and are more educated than most." I'm sure you have data to back up that blacks own more businesses, make more money, and are more educated than most whites... and if you are a black muslim you are simply rolling in the dough. Silly me.

BTW, about 40% of Muslims the US are Black Americans born into the faith.

Right now, I'm tempted to start laughing

Diaz Chacon, who works as a mechanic, became an instant celebrity, with hundreds of news stories written about him across the country, and people from coast to coast wanting to send the hero their thanks.

"He thinks this happened for a reason," said Martha.

Diaz Chacon and Martha, who is a U.S. citizen, have been married for two years. The couple has been living in Albuquerque for four years. Diaz Chacon said he's tried to get his citizenship in the past but stopped after the process became too time-consuming and expensive.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
