Well as they say no question is a stupid question... :P

For those who have interview or know what type of pictures do/did you bring?

I plan on bringing wedding pics and pictures taken in different scenarios. I was also thinking of bringing pictures of us cuddling in bed or kissing. Is that too much?? It doesn't show anything other than me in my tubi

Can someone help me... :help:

Pictures of your wedding

you guys with family members

you guys with friends

you guys doing regular everyday things with friends and fam

I personally feel that one has to be careful when sending kissing pics, some can be considered in bad taste while others look "cute" .. I opted to send a kiss pic from our wedding and one of us making really stupid faces lol  ... the rest are pics with family and friends doing various things such as eating chimis, yaroas and hiking

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Lebanon
Timeline

The USCIS stage proves the petitioner is a US citizen, and that a valid marriage exists.

The NVC stage proves that the beneficiary is who they say they are, and are qualified to apply for a visa.

The interview stage convinces them that the valid marriage between the USC and the beneficiary is a true relationship.

I would bring photos that back up all three stages. Photos of the wedding, in our opinion should be around 25%. The other 75% should demonstrate a "normal" relationship. Time together, photos that you normally accumulate over the course of your relationship. Family, trips, outings, funerals, weddings, dinners, barbeques, recreation, children.

That is what we did, and we were successful, so for OUR situation, it was what was necessary. Obviously, everyone is different.

Best of luck to you,

Great synopsis of the purpose of each stage of the visa process. I'm sure a lot of viewers will benefit from the information that you provided.

Good luck to you as well.

For those who have interview or know what type of pictures do/did you bring?

We had our interview today. I asked my wife to get two copies of each picture. One set went in a "photo album", and the other she wrote a caption on the back of each one saying who was there and what was going on.

The IO asked if we had copies of our pictures for her. We gave her the second set. She kept them.

My wife is Indonesian, so there was probably a picture of the two of us laying in bed together but it would have been headshots only and us making funny faces for the camera. She wouldn't let me take anything that looked at all "naughty", much less give a copy of it to a government agent.

Oh, and we were approved. (Yay!)

Care,

Bill
