I am seeking suggestions for getting the niece of my wife from the Philippines to the US. Approaches and advice appreciated!

My wife is already a green card holder and she's been here for almost 7 months now. Her niece is already 16 years old and we want her to come here and continue her college.

Her brother is fine with the idea so there is no problem with the family.

Please any suggestions and advice is really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

This seems strange, most Phill goes back to the Phill to seek higher education, since it is cheaper. You'll are trying to seek it in the US, which cost 3X's as much.

It cost three times as much but the education is ten times greater.......................

So are you implying that all of those nurses we have hired from the Phil, have sublime training?

I don't believe what you have stated is true, since I have had the privilege to work with fellow Phil, who were educated at Universities in the Phil. I didn't see any lacking in their higher education.

We all know that's not the case. It's really about getting them here so they can find a way to stay here and have a far greater earning potential.

Universities in the Philippines are that same as here, some are ####### and some are gold but most are somewhere in between.

Thanks for all your reply.

All of us have their own reasons for everything. All i want to know is the easiest way for us to get her here or is it possible at all....Or anyone here who tried to get their relatives from the Philippines?

Thank you again!

The best option for her is apply for student visa, there is no visa that she can come as relative of your wife.

All you can do is prob do is, if you are willing to show you would be willing to sponsor her cost of education.
