I get the feeling that both major political parties here in the U.S. don't want this also.

But it is true, numerous videos and pictures prove your claimed "not true" is indeed all too true. Pretty sure it is not dirty pool to use public transportation to move IDF troops. It is dirty pool to use private homes, mosques, and yes school yards to fire rockets, mortars, and small arms etc just so you can produce the desired PR photos to show IDF will respond with force and destroy such targets.

Both sides commit demonstrable wrongs WOM. At some point it becomes pretty useless to claim only the other is doing so. It cheapens the points trying to be made by either perspective.

Notice the attempt to shift the claim to something other than what was stated.

On Jan. 6, 2009 as part of its Cast Lead assault on Gaza, the IDF fired tank shells which landed in the street just outside the al-Fakhura elemntary school (a UN-run girls' school in the Jabiliya refugee camp,) killing some 43 people - at least 41 of these were civilians. Dozens more were injured.

At the time, the school was being used as an emergency shelter for Gaza families who had fled their homes in fear of IDF bombing raids. Most of the dead and wounded were members of these families. The UN had informed the IDF of the civilians taking shelter inside, and the IDF also had the GPS coordinates of all UN schools in Gaza.

As the story hit the news, the IDF first claimed that Hamas had actually fired mortars and rockets from inside the schoolyard, and also claimed that Hamas operatives were among the dead (dutifully reciting that “Hamas is using civilians as human shields”):

An IDF spokesman said that troops had fired mortar rounds at the school, after militants barricaded inside shot mortar shells at the Israeli forces.

"Initial checks ... show that from inside the school mortars were fired at Israeli forces," a spokesman said. "In response, the forces fired a number of mortar rounds into the area."

The army said that the bodies of numerous Hamas militants were found inside the school following the attack.

Palestinians are the equivalent of ants in the eyes of the IDF. The U.S. supports this policy thanks to AIPAC and the other one. Sorry forgot the name. You can post and post all you like, but this will never end. They wont have justice.
