I just returned from the post office after mailing out my IV package from Singapore. IV fee still says in process, but we decided to mail it out anyway since they gave us the barcode coversheet which pretty much says "send us your IV package!!". :lol: Should get there in 3 to 4 days. Fingers crossed.

Mailed final (IV) packet to NVC last night via FEDEX!!!

I must admit I batted my eyes a few times to get the fedex guy to make copies of the police clearance certificate for me so I had my extra copy. I had just picked up the package hubby sent to me containing the certificate and the fedex guy saved the day! I was really dreading going all the way to kinkos to make copies since I was off work. THANK YOU MR. FEDEX GUY!

Now we sit back and await an interview date! :dance:

how do you know when your case is compete?

We mailed ds-230 on the 2nd and it was delivered on the 6th.

How long does it take for NVC to come back with an interview date?

i mailed on 1st but delivered on 6th too. i haven't heard anything from NVC yet.

i hope get some good news on Monday.

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)

Talked to an operator this morning. Our AOS package, delivered on Sept 6, has been reviewed with no problems on Sept 9. They issued an RFE for the DS-230 (delivered Sept 7) on Sept 9 as well.

Hoping for a case close in the next couple of days. :dance:

Yes I spoke to NVC this morning

Our case was completed last Friday. We received a false RFE for the I-864 fee while I was overseas. We had that squared away immediately

I called NVC today and was told to call back on Friday and see if there will be an interview date. Albania schedules interviews 60+ days after case closed so we are hoping for a date before Thanksgiving (fingers crossed)

Any updates from you?

I called the automated line on the 9th and it said the case was completed on the 8th. Did not call the operator.

Our case was completed yesterday! Called the AVR 10 mins ago and it had changed to the case complete message.

IV package confirmed to be in house at NVC this morning. Wow the mail room must have a bonus going for who can get the most packages to the right cubicle the fastest :rofl:

Hopefully by end of next week our case will be closed if not sooner! :dance:
