How much debts does america have? trillions i know. That sounds to me like a third world country. How about obesity vaccine.

mmmmm It doesn't sound like a good optimistic start on your part...I'd agree on the massive shamefull debt but from here to define the US a third world country,It definitely requires a leap of faith for which there's no waiver to overcome it..

P.S. The day the US will be subject to primitive dictats from religions, then It will become for real a Third World country...the debt or the obesity issue is a joke compared to that threat.

You're lucky enough USCIS doesn't actually deny automatically (as they should) someone cause they don't want shots..I'd say a 9 months waiting and hundreds of bucks aren't a high price enough..IF the waiver will be approved.

You mean this? "I am sorry, but we don't need people from third world countries coming and giving our citizens tuberculosis or the measles. Immigration is a privilege, not a right. "

That's not racist, it's a heath matter. I see no racial comment in there.

No problem.. I'm sure that how Jesus would have wanted you to respond... You are welcome to your beliefs and opinions but in all seriousness I think you and your fiance would be happier moving the other direction.. Lots of people move the other direction and are much happier about the move.. No worries about shots or debt and no fat racist americans running about. Why move somewhere where clearly don't want to be?

Back to the topic:

Though US Immigration Law requires that ALL intending immigrants be vaccinated, "K" visa applicants, as non-immigrant visa applicants, are technically not subject to the vaccination requirement though they are encouraged to do so. "K" visa applicants who refuse to comply with the vaccination requirement WILL NOT be denied a visa on that basis. As a matter of expediency, however, it is encouraged that "K" visa applicants meet the vaccination requirement before they are admitted into the U.S. Applicants who have not fully complied with the vaccination requirement will have to do so before they may finalize their adjustment of status in the U.S.

Also a decision to grant a waiver of the vaccination requirement will only be made at the time an adjustment of status is filed and reviewed by the USCIS.

And according to travel.state.gov

K visa applicants are encouraged to get the vaccinations required under U.S. immigration law for immigrant visa applicants. Although such vaccinations are not required for K visa issuance, they will be required when adjusting status to that of legal permanent resident following your marriage. Applicants are therefore encouraged to fulfill these vaccination requirements at the time of the medical examination.

To th OP...Goodluck!!

You are asking to come here. They are not asking you to move here. Seems to me you should not be so hateful. If America did not go into deeper debt to send Philippines and other countries money. Where would you really be and what would be the debt of your nation if you had to pay the money back? If your debt is 49th in the world at$ 63,750,000,000 where would it be with out help from the USA

america is in trillions of dollar debt. the number one killer of america is heart disease. i live in oklahoma and born in oklahoma. someone insulted my fiance from philippines about vaccines for diseases that is not even the top killer in america. we should focus on our overweight, and debt country more than commenting on visa website. the truth hurts but its the sad reality that i live everyday in america.

we know the philippines is a poor country and we know that there are many people who wants to live in america from philippines. it doesnt mean we dont love america, and it doesnt mean we dont love philippines. its just that we are not blind to the facts

Name a country and I can list 50 things wrong with it.. So what.. Your fiance is being asked to get vaccinations for her sake and for everyone else sake. There is a reason why most of the world doesn't suffer from diseases like Polio. The fact that there are overweight people and the government is spending too much money does not mean we need to be totally stupid about every other decision right? Get the shots.

They are not top killers in America because we have eradicated them through vaccines!!!!

No more smallpox, no more mumps, no more measles, no more rubella, no more polio, no more tuberculosis. In fact, vaccines aren't even given for TB and smallpox here any more because they don't exist! Because of vaccines!!
