I just had NVC on the phone. The lady told me that they received my petition but haven't started working on it yet. :crying: It was sent to them on Feb 2nd... Why are they so slow.Or maybe am I a bit too impatient?

March 18th: Interview

May 24th 2011: Oath in Minneapolis. Journey is over.

I imagine it just might be because they process millions of requests every year and they may actually have several hundred thousand yet to be processed that got there ahead of yours.

I imagine it just might be because they process millions of requests every year and they may actually have several hundred thousand yet to be processed that got there ahead of yours.

Sounds odd Kweli... My file arrived at NVC last Monday & left by noon on Thursday. It's at the US Embassy in Manila as of last night here (Wed morning there).

I might would call and check with someone else. So they couldn't track it by your Case# I assume?

Feb. 21, 2006 >> Called US Embassy in Manila to ask for Req for change of Embassy to Vancouver. The representative said it shows the request already made. (Evidently from the NVC or Vancouver)

April 3, 2006 >> Received call from Vancouver US Consulate informing me that my fiancee needed to fax them a copy of her Canadian work permit, our case #, current address and phone #. Fiancee faxed requested documents that same day.

April 20, 2006 >> Packet 3 rec'd from Vancouver US Consulate.

April 24, 2006 >> Fiance' faxed DS-230 to Vancouver US Consulate

April 24, 2006 >> I scheduled medical examination for my fiance' for May 1, 2006 $220 Canadian.

Yes the notice came in the snail mail yesterday. The actual letter was drafted on the 16th.

I just got off the phone with the NVC the file will be sent to Paris at the end of this day.

Still hoping this is true. Maybe in a few days I'll have the package 3

Mine supposedly came and went on the same day although I don't think this is right...but my letter was dated Jan 17th as receiving and the lady on the phone said it left on Jan 17th as well! Either way it went through there in only a matter of days (my NOA2 was on Dec 29th)
