Hello everybody!

I just want to introduce myself. My name is Eric and my sweetheart is in China. It is such a blessing that I have found this site so early on. My first trip to China is scheduled in November, so I have the blessing of learning from all of your experiences before I even begin the K1 Visa process. My sweetheart and I are taking our time, mostly by e-mail every day and one phone call per week to really get to know each other very well.

Just wanted to say "Hi" and thanks to you all for sharing your experiences, as I will also.

God Bless!

Eric

Welcome to VJ! Good luck with your trip and learn as much about each other as you can before you start your K1 to ensure a happy future for both of you. There are a lot of seasoned folks on here and a lot of green wood as well, so don't always take all replies as gospel unless there is an experienced consensus. Overall, a great place for information...and occasional entertainment as well.:whistle:

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome :-) Shenzhen - thanks for the tip on the phone card and qq. I found similar card called "1cent China" and I was very surprised how inexpensive it is. My $5 card seems like it's lasting forever. My girl has mentioned qq, but I've never tried it. I'll have to give it a try.
