Agreed! The goal should be rehabilitation IF this 12 year old boy in fact raped her. Negative attention???? what would be the purpose? How can negative attention possibly help rehabilitate a 12 yr old boy. Regardless of whether he raped her or was cooerced or threatened into having sex with her, it was proven some sort of sexual intercourse occured so the boy and the girl need help, not negative attention.

I'm absolutely defending a 12-year-old.

See what I did there? I said 12-year-old. A little boy. A kid. When you look at it from that perspective it's hard to insinuate this little boy is a threat to society like you do when you post things about "criminals."

It's only a simple word switch, but it means a lot when considered in context. You're big on that, right? Context? Try to take the context into account when you're touting the danger to society from a 12-year-old boy.
