HELP!!! I-131 Travel Document

I mailed in my I-131 Travel Document application to the Chicago lockbox for me and my two boys but get this. My application was accepted but my sons were not. They sent back theirs with a notice saying "Based on the box you checked in Part 2 you must file at a different BCIS location. Please send your application to Washington DC??????????????? I checked the same box in Part 2 as I did for myself. Why are my kids so different?? In Part 2 I checked I am applying for advance parole document to allow me to return to the US after temporary foreign travel. Can anyone help me on this one?? :unsure:

Your problem is a strange one I read the instructions on the I-131 form, but could not see why they are treating the K1 and K2 visas differently. You may want to schedule an InfoPass appointment at your near by CIS office, and discuss your problem with a case officer.
