marriage license application

I have been having problems in acquiring a marriage license. I live in mindanao. My fiancee, a US military is restricted to come here. So we are looking for other options on where we could get a marriage license. I understand that I need to be a resident before we can get one from another city.

Please help! I would like to know if it is still possible that we could apply for a marriage license in another city/municipal eventhough I am not a resident there.

Hi.. you stated that your fiance so that means you are on a K1 visa 129F? just wondering why you are asking about marriage license here in the Philippines? or in USA? if here in the philippines you needed to be a resident in that place where you getting married before you can get a license..if in that state you can get marriage license in the state where you plan to get marrry..I am looking about that too.. while I am still here in the philippines as we are going to live in NC and getting married in Florida and anytime you can get a license without waiting time in Florida even if you are not a resident.. just look for the state where you plan.. By the way if you are still here in the Philippines no need for a license if you are on a k1 visa.. you needed to get marry in USA..goodluck

Hi... Yes he is my fiancee but we are getting married here in the Philippines. He is currently deployed in South Korea and getting married here first makes it easier for him to bring me to South Korea. How i wish we could just get married in US first so that it won't be a problem. Thank you so much for the reply though.
