The I-765 is NOT a renewal. It is a new category and therefore a new application. Make sure to check "permission to accept employment" and NOT "renewal" or your EAD will be denied. Yes your EAD app needs 2 passport photos. You will need 7 photos for you and 1 for your husband.

Who you make payment to is in the instructions. I really think you need to read the instructions. Most of your questions can be answered there. If you don't know who to make the check out to, that tells me that you haven't carefully read the instructions and probably missed other important information!

Oh my goodness i have read and read and read the instructions they must all be all whirled around in my mind im sorry for my questions

I already have an EAD that isnt up until Feb 2012 so i would still apply for a whole new one?

08-02-06 Met my hubby in while teaching in South Korea

07-17-07 went back to america/canada

01-03-08 Back to Korea for another year of teaching

01-12-09 back to america to stay and go to school

04-24-10 engaged in Mexico!!!!

08-29-10 start university in america on F-1 visa

02-10-11 EAD approved and OPT approved

08-06-11 Wedding day :)

09-01-11 sent in AOS package

09-14-11 received notice that all forms have been accepted

09-15-11 Biometrics appointment on Septemeber 29th

You don't have to apply for a new EAD if you don't want to. it is optional and free. if you do want to apply, it is NOT a renewal because it is a whole new category.
