I am currently living in NH but my fiancé and I plan on living in Florida. I was wondering if I could file the petition while in NH or should I be living in Florida before filing? I know there is a box that asks for her address here already but was hoping I did not have to wait until I am in Florida before filing because that is added time to the process..Any help would be appreciated..

i guess, you can file it now.. then wait for noa1 first then you can change your address by posting a message to the USCIS as soon as you get in Fl.. but let's wait for others reply.... :)

Yes, you can!

When are you planning to move to FL?

K1 Visa application takes 4-6 months before your fiance can be with you again here in the US.

My husband is from St. Louis, Missouri and there was an engineering job waiting for him here in Northwest Indiana back in September 2008. He moved first before he filed the K1 petition and everything became so smooth because we don't have to worry about changing address. And when we got reunited on February 2009, together we both feel settled here in Indiana.

I think moving first, lessens the burden of waiting game and filing. (just my opinion)

I am probably gonna be ready to head to Florida in about 4 months but will be ready to file in about 2. I will still be in NH when ready to file and would like to do it right away otherwise if I wait until I am in Florida I will basically be adding two months to my wait period.
