Was denied in June this year, reason: weak ties w homeland (aka recent graduate, no job, single, no property), i never mentioned i was going to visit my bf tho...

Im in the same postion, was denied 3 times this year. You should be fine and if anything i think it may reinforce the K1 visa. Ive been told it will not affect K1 visa by members on her and by both lawyer and other attorneys.

You were denied a NON immigrant visa because you failed to establish your non-intention to emigrate; every consular officer reviewing tourist visa applications MUST presume that the applicant intends to emigrate and the applicant has to prove otherwise. With a K-1 visa what you're doing is openly stating that you want to emigrate, and that's what K-1 is for. So this instance will not affect your progress.
