Weak passport stamps

I was making copies of my passport stamps today and noticed that the darn exit stamp from Bangkok is BARELY READABLE!!!! The officer apparently didn't put enough pressure on the the stamp to make a good ink impression.

This sucks because the date above it, the one which states my visa expiry date, is very dark. I'm afraid this will confuse anybody reading our case.

To add to this, when I was in Bangkok, my fiance had a mishap and ended up in the hospital 2 days before I my scheduled flight departure. I was so worried to leave him there like that in that condition that I postponed my departure ticket by 2 weeks.

So I attached my original flight intinerary along with the letter from Cathay Pacific stating my flight change.

I also attached flight boarding passes, bus tickets, boat tickets, receipts, photos, and programs from the Church we attended while in Bangkok.

I'm hoping this will be enough to evade an RFE???

Another issue..... has anyone travelled abroad to another country WITHOUT the intention of meeting their fiance???

I totally forgot about my trip to Germany last year to attend my very good friend's wedding. Now this trip was planned about a year before the wedding date and was not paid for by me.

And, my fiance and I wholeheartedly planned on attending the wedding together and meeting in Germany. Of course, that plan failed and he was not able to get a visa to Germany but I still attended the wedding.

How do I convince the CO reviewing our case that this is the honest to God truth???

Oh God,.... always problems problems problems...... :(:dead:

Again I'm freaking out....

I am the petitioner.

Hi! Don't worry! It's gonna be fine. All you have is good. Also, if you have credit card statements that you paid for the flight, that may help. You should also have a US entry stamp further in your pasport. I almost missed it cause it was many pages later. My egypt visa was stamped on page 8, and my US reentry stamp was on page 17. Just make sure you include everything you can think of that proves you were together and proves you have an ongoing relationship. I made 2 tabed sections. One for proof of having met, and another for proof of ongoing relationship. You'll be fine! Just make sure you include loads of stuff, and explain everything you send. I explained each proof with a little cover page over the item.

What does it matter you went to Germany? This doesn't seem to matter. You went to a friends wedding.

Relax! I bet your approved in 3 months

:)

Thank you, that's encouraging :)

I just remembered, that the officer never stamped my passport when I entered LAX. He stamped that arrival form, you know the one you get on the plane before you land, but not my actual passport. Slip of mind I guess.

I was worried about Germany because I went to my friend's wedding during the 14 month gap where I did not physically meet my fiance.

Hopefully this does not get used against us in the future!

3 months? 3 months would be so nice!

It can be done! As long as your application is very neat. Follow the guides here in VJ, and this link: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD&vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

My Petition was approved with the USCIS in 3 months, where most from Egypt take much longer. Just be very organized and include tons of evidence. Of course with the backlog at the embassy, because of the revolution, we are still wating for an interview  But I believe the USCIC must appriciate petitions that follow the directions. You know with tabs at the bottom and acco fasteners. Our petitions was over an inch think. hehehehe
