2 months ago my husband (the petitioner and US CITIZEN) and I, went to our second interview, we were both separated and the IO asked us a lot of questions...today I received a NOID...because we have different answers...we were so scared, and also most of the questions were about times, ex. where were you the last saturday and where were your husband?...the NOID said...that we have 30 days to explain why my visa shouldn't be denied...in a letter...I don't know what to think...have any of you been in this situation before? we are so sad...it's just not fair...they think our marriage could be a shame...

As Jojo said, you need to get a lawyer--fast.

Do not try to respond to this yourself; the stakes are too high. If they deny this application, you will likely never be able to return to the United States because, according to them, you sought to procure an immigration benefit out of a fake marriage.

No matter the cost, you need a good lawyer to help you through this one. Please don't try to do this yourself.

You need to lawyer up! Pronto! You are being accused of entering a marriage solely with the intention of gaining immigration benefits.

03/27/2009: Engaged in Ithaca, New York.
08/17/2009: Wedding in Calcutta, India.
09/29/2009: I-130 NOA1
01/25/2010: I-130 NOA2
03/23/2010: Case completed.
05/12/2010: CR-1 interview at Mumbai, India.
05/20/2010: US Entry, Chicago.

03/26/2012: Biometrics completed.
12/07/2012: 10 year card production ordered.

09/25/2013: N-400 NOA1

10/16/2013: Biometrics completed
