I'm just wondering that it is possible for NVC to send our documents to each US embassy without waiting for interview date. NVC still can send e-mail later about interview date after US embassy is confirming it. Any opinions or experiences ?

NVC will send the documents only after Interview date - scheduling interview date and communicating to us is NVC's responsibility. And if they send the papers before interview date, it will be very difficult for them to follow up (not impossible) - as such there is total confusion now at NVC and we don't want additional confusion.

I second this as well.

Its also easier for NVC to house all the consulate specific files and when the dates become available it would be easier to send all of those files at one time instead of one at a time.

This again is just a theory I have.

The only exception to this are non-EP filers in Guangzhou. The Consulate there is the only one that schedules it's own interviews for those who don't opt for EP.

You have 3 options.

1. Check the sign in page where you paid your fees. If you are able to login your case is not closed, if you cannot login you case is closed.

2. Call the NVC operator and they can tell you the status of your case.

3. Wait for them to e-mail you an interview date.

Yes, check the payment web site (you should get SIF), then call AVR Indicate case completed on...). Call the operator only if the first two indicate case complete.

Right from the starting, this process has been testing our patience..... Let's see how it's gonna go...

Called NVC today, looks like they are giving standard response to everyone.... saying " call us in the 2nd week in Sep, that's when we are going to schedule ur interview"... I hope I'll get early Oct interview..

That's what they told me too. Doesn't matter what they say, I will call them again this Friday again.
