So i called NVC today ( as i do everyday) and was told the same thing ...scheduling starts the second week of october. I dared to push the OP and ask if the scheduling is done just on that one week and he said that the scheduling continues until all the available spots offered by the embassy are filled. So that is why some people get their interview dates the third or last week of the month.I wish that what i am told from NVC on daily bases was not true. Our case completed on the 9th of this month and no interview date yet. I just need to know :)

Having watched a couple of cycles now I would say (for the majority of consulates) that scheduling *ends* the second week of October. Scheduling starts at some random time between now and the beginning of the second week and most will be complete by the end of the second week (October 14th). Hopefully we will see a few trickle in this week and some more next week. - there was one November interview for Ghana today, maybe the first for this cycle..

Unfortunately we all become "experts" on each of these sections right after it can do us any good :)

I am still finding myself getting angry about missing the October interviews, getting a date and finally being able to plan and see a light at the end of this tunnel would help a lot.

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

Hey there, I was not aware you were still reading these old threads :) At this point I doubt I will get early November - I'm not even overly confident of November with the two upcoming holidays and the flood of K-1s from CSC's heavy NOA2 approvals earlier this year getting preference and CR-1s getting the leftovers. I'm probably just over analyzing it at this point..

I was browzing through the thread and found few of us that were inter-acting actively on this thread still active. We have similar timelines (but for my second case closing - fortunately it didn't do any damage) and was surprised to find your timelines without an interview date. I do hope you get a November date and I hope I am right - beginning of second week, the interview dates started tickling down this month for some of us and hopefully your should be the same in October with November date. Keep hanging, you are almost there.

Hot Mama that is the best news i have heard in about a month...do you know for sure that that is when they will start scheduling?

I am getting tired of calling them every day and shaking my head and rolling my eyes while repeating the same script as them...I wish they can change the order of the sentences sometimes...it sound like a recording

All of us that have interview scheduled for October still have the AVR states "Your case was completed....." and we can still logon to the payment website. So SIF is no more significant.
