My case is completed at NVC. I'm now waiting on getting the interview date assigned for New Delhi consulate. I was told that they schedule interviews in the second week of every month for the following month. They said I still have chance to make it to next month for Delhi if it is still available. They said call us by middle of next week if you don't hear from us. Anyone for New Delhi consulate with Nov. date on this thread?

Congrats and welcome to our group - all the best in getting October interview date. We are hoping to get interview details by Friday.

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

More details: I knew it was closed before it was in the NVC computer since I saw it on the DHL website the day the packet was shipped, and then less than 24 hours later it was delivered to the consul

I am thinking that we will get our news on Friday (hopefully Thursday late evening). Hoping that the last operator I talked last week was correct for a change.

Yes, since no one is being scheduled for interview for the last 10 days, there will not be any DHL mail. DHL mail may start next week or Friday the earliest is my guess.

Wow! I was thinking that NVC might have sent your case papers to Mumbai Consulate by now. How did you find out - Did you call Mumbai Consulate/ VFS?

Wow! I was thinking that NVC might have sent your case papers to Mumbai Consulate by now. How did you find out - Did you call Mumbai Consulate/ VFS?

Operators will not tell you. This is an assumption. I want to call DOS as I have read in some OLD threads...circa 2003... that a rare few were able to find out via DOS.

The last AVR recording according to guides here says "You case has been forwarded to the U.S. Consulate/embassy on xx/xx/xxxx" From there you are able to track your case via DHL tracking. My AVR is stuck on " You case has been completed on August, 23rd, 2011 allow 6-8 weeks for further information on your case."

Calling Mumbai consulate is a shot in the dark...it rings, rings and rings forever.

I think you are right.. I was hoping with scheduling occurring this week we would start seeing the interview dates trickling out starting Monday.. Yesterday (and so far today) I've seen four for the UK, 1 for Italy, 1 for Egypt, and one for the Philippines.. Not a good showing so far...

I predict Friday around Noon to 2 pm. EST

These guys are milking the time they have to pack in all the dates they can. Cancellations, changes, expedites, I bet they are formulating these first before people waiting in line.

The India people will find out at the last available minute, I am sure of it. India is a HUGE immigration country these guys are busy 24/7/365. Mumbai and New Delhi especially so.

NVC did send packets to Stockholm the day we CC'd (Sep 6) and even the next day.

VENT:

This month is bothering me:

(UK neglected to send us the marriage cert. for 5 weeks) +

(USCIS neglected to forward approved I-130's for 1 month) +

(NVC neglected to record the military doc added 3 weeks) == completely missed August/Sept timeframe. (sigh)

I suppose this all conditions me to be skeptical & skittish re: embassy stage.
