Thank you jaan for the excellent advice..actually, i was thinking about that initially when i read the e-mail, but now after re-assurance from DeC fellows and talking with operators i will hold on to the pcc and not going to send it.

yes, i have the same RFE before the case closed for PCC, but some intelligent operators and NVC knows its not an easy thing to get in India, specially AMD to get ur PCC, so they have given that option to all the applicants going thru BOM consulate, since it is an issue. DOnt worry about, jus take the original copies of ur PCC to VFS and Interview and it will all work out =) Since the case is completed at NVC, no point of submitting anything anymore, bcoz it might cause confusion and cause delay. Good luck to u and hope u get ur interview date soon.

More details: I knew it was closed before it was in the NVC computer since I saw it on the DHL website the day the packet was shipped, and then less than 24 hours later it was delivered to the consul

I called the NVC today hoping for some good news but got the "second week of the month" speech. I'm beginning to think I really will have to wait until the second week of September. With a 2 day holiday coming up at the beginning of next week I'm losing hope for an early October interview. :(
