Called NVC and they provided me this date. Still waiting for email confirmation.

Kinda making me nervous as you have an early CC and you got a middle October date. 4 holidays this month too...

Dammit...they gave RFE for PCC even though i have mumbai consulate...they have bunch of idiots working at NVC as they don't know applicants at mumbai consulate can submit pcc at the time of interview...my wife received the pcc recently so she will ship it straight to nvc...i hope this doesn't screw my chance of interview in october...if anyone also received an e-mail too please post....

I just called NVC and I got my interview scheduled for October 19th. at 8:45AM. I'm sooo happy & excited!!

The operator said they will be sending out the confirmation e-mail today.

I got that e-mail this morning. Call to verify that your case is not re-opened. Mine was not.

This is standard protocol for them as the NVC operator said to me. They have to give you a written notice that it is still needed, but can be shown at the interview.

Call and verify that your case is still closed and in line for interview and not re-opened.

A good way to check this is the sign in page, if you can log in, it was reopened. If not, it's still closed and in line for interview.

You can keep worrying about October interview date, no need to worry about RFE!

Thank you jaan for the excellent advice..actually, i was thinking about that initially when i read the e-mail, but now after re-assurance from DeC fellows and talking with operators i will hold on to the pcc and not going to send it.

Well I doubt there is any relation between the cc date and interview date. I feel like they do random scheduling but in FIFO order. I see a good chance of you fitting on the oct schedule if we assume a 50/55-day rule here.

Even, I should have called NVC. I got RFE for PCC and waited almost one and half month to submit RFE I had wrote a request to sumbit PCC during interview time and they rejected the request sending us RFE. Else we would had the interview this month instead of Oct
