Case Complete to Interview Date Communication

It is so brutal that NVC processed the soft copy attached to an email inquiry, eventhough they don't process such things in the normal process.

Thanks everyone that helped me face this sudden reversal fortune with my CC. I appreciate your prayers and the Lord willing we will catch up.

Don't worry, they don't take much time to review the documents sent later. The 20 business day thing is for the documents sent initially. We got a RFE for our AOS too. NVC received our Checklist document on 29th july and we got case complete on 5th Aug. 30 & 31st was a weekend. So you could say they take around 4-6 days to review. I heard from many people's experience that the RFE documents are reviewed much faster than the one's sent initially. From my understanding, you should get case complete again within 5 days. We have the same case complete date fenil and we are both going to Mumbai consulate. Please let me know if you have anything scheduled...I called about an hour ago and no date was given to me.

I called today, checked the status first, said case completed Aug 9th please wait 8 weeks blah blah...I felt hopeless, but then I called NVC again and dialed the operator, and OMGOSH, she told me our interview is scheduled for Oct 11th 2011 at BOMBAY consulate. They will email the interview letter within couple days. I was so relieved and thankful and excited.

My only concern now is they are asking for documents with my I864 and have him bring it to the interview. I hope that clears out and it will be a good day for us.

I got the same answer. I have a feeling by the end of this month... or even over the weekend we'll know. NVC does send e-mails out on the weekends.

We have a quite a few going thru Mumbai now! Yipee!

Yeah, usually NVC works on scheduling the whole month, I would call twice a week lol to find out and today the lady told it was scheduled, so not like it was done today...they havn't notified me yet, neither i got an email or the AVS changed on the NVC dial. Oh well, my husband won;t believe me until he sees an interview letter. lol i hope you get yours soon as well, trust me, its coming =)

Everyone my case was completed on AUG 10 2011 and was told to wait to october for an appt. And i called today and they scheduled my appt already for OCT 6!!! Yay!!
