I saw it as well. 8/9/11 NVC complete date. Kinda makes me nervous as I got case complete on the 24th of this month. I hope I can squeak in.

I am on the phone with NVC now...

You will surely fit in to Oct Schedule as per the trend of last few months. Even I am thinking to call NVC as so many Oct interview dates have popped up today :D

More details: I knew it was closed before it was in the NVC computer since I saw it on the DHL website the day the packet was shipped, and then less than 24 hours later it was delivered to the consul

My intial guess of 50 days between NVC complete to Interview Date is pretty darn close. It's around 55-57 days.

I saw 8/5 getting 10/18 for Chennai - looks like 60 -70 days now. Now that I shot myself in my foot, late October looks like a miracle.

Watching all the other thread I see a huge number are getting ready to close their cases - I need God's help to get mine done by this month-end to avoid further skid.

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC

Well the good thing is that your gonna have a bunch of info through a lot of us. This is a very large "class" of Indian filers. The largest I have seen in a while... a lot are active on here too which helps even more.

Sure - I was just joking. I will call NVC tomorrow after the packet is delivered and try to get hold of a supervisor or .... and try to get my case closed - it is just a trial - you know by now how this works.

Looks like a lot of Desis filed between second half of March through first half to April. Added to that the 31 days delay between approvals and NVC Case numbers brought everyone to one level - meaning all got their paper work ready by then.

congratulations!!! Now you also got the interview date (case completed 8/9/2011) thats awesome....my case was completed on 8/23 so i am about to call and ask them if they have setup interview date...

Thanks for the reassurance. I will be calling NVC daily now since I saw a few interviews go out for Mumbai. Some of our London friends received their dates today and no e-mails yet. So I might be able to catch the interview date before the e-mails are sent out.

Wish I was not back to the stage of Calling NVC daily like I was when I was waiting for my case number... lol

Your welcome. I didn't mind calling NVC it's just that some of the operators were just plain rude and didn't wanted to give out any information on our case that's what irritated me the most. I have learned that either you can call early in the morning or late at night and that's when you can get hold of an operator who is nice enough to give out all the detail information on the case.

It is so brutal that NVC processed the soft copy attached to an email inquiry, eventhough they don't process such things in the normal process.

Thanks everyone that helped me face this sudden reversal fortune with my CC. I appreciate your prayers and the Lord willing we will catch up.
