Case Complete to Interview Date Communication

All of us was told by an operator that they will set a schedule in mid September, so is mean that our interview schedule may be in the middle or end of October, is have to be a month ahead, right?. If they give schedule end of this month or first week of September then it will early October. correct me if I'm wrong.

They will be *finished* giving October dates by mid September.. At some point (probably in the next week but dependent on your embassy) they will open up Octobers schedule, then they will go to that big waiting pile of completed cases and start filling in the interview dates. Assuming they uses some sort of FIFO method to go through completed cases and they schedule in descending order through the month then it stands to reason that the sooner your case completed after September was full the sooner you will get your October date..

There are other factors most likely: I don't know if they only open so many per day for spousal visas, or give them say the third week.. There are a million scenarios for filling the schedule that would result in seemingly random dates and each consulate is different.

Good one. At least for the Indian Consulate I can say that I saw a mix of different visa categories scheduled for interview each day. I hope and want to beleive that they follow FIFO in each consulate.
