We have lost or not sure where our joint insurance policy papers are at since last year. This May we switched insurance, and we called the old insurance to get the policy for I-751 application evidence. THey said because we are no longer with them they cannot generate any policy. Is someone here encountering this type of situation? What should we do or how did you guys handle it?

They may not be able to generate any policy but they will be able to provide you with a letter that you had a policy with them during the period from X to Y dates.

Can you log into their website and print the coverage history or something like that or you call them and ask them to send you your coverage history(there is a fancy name for it, but I can't really remember)?

Every company can generate a Declarations Page. It shows your liability limits, driver and vehicles on the policy and policy term. If they say they can't, they are lying.

(I've been an agent for years. I promise I'm right ;))

You can send your current Insurance card copy. For the previous one, simply print your credit card or bank statement through which you have been paying the insurance with an explanation letter.
