I-797C notice personal record verify

Hi,

i received I-797C notice

"the above application has been received by our office and is in process. our records indicate your personal information as fallow:

date of birth.......

address where you live.....

please verify your personal information listed above and immediately notify our office at the address or phone number listed below if there are any changes.

upon receipt of required record checks you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office."

address and date of birth info is accurate.should i have to send in other documents to verify or should i just wait for FP. help i am confused..

It seems to be very important that you let them know ASAP about this problem by calling the customer service number at the bottom of the notice. They will let you know what you may or may not need to send. The first tier agents are pretty useless, so they'll probably send you up to a case officer or at least a tier 2 agent to help.

It seems that this is not an uncommon problem and there is an established process to correct these types of errors.

Especially when the date of birth is wrong, it can potentially cause major processing issues depending on the form you submitted. You should call right now.

If information is correct--as you state--do nothing.

If information is not correct then call them and see how they want you to correct it as per the above posters suggestion.
