i checked the payment portal and finally got SIF, and received this e-mail from nvc

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

All correspondence for this case is being sent to your attorney of record. If you no longer wish to utilize this attorney as your representative, please contact us at NVCInquiry@state.gov , or by regular mail at the address below.

National Visa Center

ATTN: WC

31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 200

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2915

We completed our review of the Affidavit of Support form and financial evidence. Our review indicates additional financial evidence and/or an amended Affidavit of Support form is still required. You will be sent a separate checklist letter that will specify the missing documents; you should obtain these documents and send them to the principal applicant. The principal applicant must provide the missing items to the U.S. Consular Officer at the time of the visa interview. Do not send these documents to the NVC, as this may cause a delay in the processing of your case.

To download the appropriate Affidavit of Support form(s) and instructions please visit:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3197.html

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the designated representative of this case (applicant, petitioner, or attorney) will be notified. The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

Please be advised that we schedule interview appointments based on the capacity of the respective U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. We are unable to predict when an interview will be scheduled.

Is it something to be worried about or what does this mean???

That would appear to be an RFE but you also got a SIF? I would call NVC and see what is going on... Is your timeline accurate? They sat on you AOS for over a month after receiving it?

I will call them today and see what's going on. I heard sometimes they need an updated I-864 at the interview, can that be it? We used a co-sponsor because my husband doesn't make what's required due to the fact that he's a student and only works part-time.

We sent our AOS & IV July 11th, then received a RFE two weeks later, they received all the required documents they asked for on August 5th.
