omg finally SIF

i checked the payment portal and finally got SIF, and received this e-mail from nvc

The principal applicant must provide the missing items to the U.S. Consular Officer at the time of the visa interview. Do not send these documents to the NVC, as this may cause a delay in the processing of your case.

That would appear to be an RFE but you also got a SIF? I would call NVC and see what is going on... Is your timeline accurate? They sat on you AOS for over a month after receiving it?

That would appear to be an RFE but you also got a SIF? I would call NVC and see what is going on... Is your timeline accurate? They sat on you AOS for over a month after receiving it?

I will call them today and see what's going on. I heard sometimes they need an updated I-864 at the interview, can that be it? We used a co-sponsor because my husband doesn't make what's required due to the fact that he's a student and only works part-time.

We sent our AOS & IV July 11th, then received a RFE two weeks later, they received all the required documents they asked for on August 5th.
