Hello,

During my wife's interview in Guangzhou, they told her she could bring her (minor ... 13 year old) son to the USA, but to do so in the First year of her arrival. She has been here 3 months now, we are married, her AOS has been sent and is being processed. The embassy made it sound very simple, such as call them... Which I know is never that easy!! Her son was part of the original paperwork, maybe this is why the process might be easy if done before the first year?

Any advice, direction, forms I need to fill out, who to send them too? and or experienced comments would be greatly appreciated.

Brent

This guy actually filed an I-130 for his step-son until he found out he could do a K2 follow-to-join. He got the K2 for his step-son. The thread describes the process they went through in Guangzhou.
