How necessary is it for my fiance to have copies of the entire I-129F?

I didn't make copies of the entire I-129F submission for the fiance visa, I just didn't have the time and it was a ton of work to put it all together. I figure that the consul over there in Moscow will have the original submission. It seemed a little overly ####### to copy the entire packet and mail it to my fiance. How necessary is this? Is it "just in case" something is missing? I don't see it as a requirement anywhere except on these forums...Thanks.

Yes, it's mostly just in case anything's gotten lost. It's also good to have for your reference when you go to file for Adjustment of Status. Some of the forms are very similar.

It seemed kind of ####### to me to at that time. Just send Originals to my Attourney and all is fine. I wish now I would have made copies. Hell, I don't even know what my Attourney sent. Now thats #######.

01/07/15.....Received my EAD card

01/31/15..... I got my SSN from the mail

04/20/15......AOS Interview - Approved :star:

4/24/15 .......Got the Driving Permit Card

It's only a problem if something got lost or misplaced. Why take the chance on a delay and the accompanying stress?

Plus, it's nice to have a copy of everything later on as you go through the Adjustment of Status, Removal of Conditions. It just helps.
