I am waiting for an interview to be set in Montreal. The operator has told me that there are still openings for September. Anyone else still waiting?

02/12/11 - filed for I-130

02/16/11 - NOA1

05/17/11 - NOA2

(90 Days for Approval)

NVC:

05/24/11 - received case number, IIN, and beneficiary ID number from operator, gave email addresses, sent in optin email

05/26/11 - AOS bill invoiced and paid, submitted DS-261

05/31/11 - AOS bill appears as PAID, emailed I-864 package

07/22/11 - IV bill invoiced and paid

07/26/11 - IV bill appears as PAID, submitted DS-260, emailed supporting documents

08/03/11 - SIF (Sign In Fail)

08/10/11 - CC (received case complete)

08/16/11 - interview date assigned (received interview package by email on xx/xx)

Medical / US Consulate / POE:

09/23/11 - medical at Medisys... PASSED

09/29/11 - interview

I doubt Montreal has openings for September, they are the only place that does spousal visas. So far people haven't been able to book anything for DCF either because there are no appointments open to book from.

Our case closed at the NVC on August 3rd and we're still waiting for an appointment as well. I called the NVC today and they also shared with me that there are still September dates to check back towards the end of the week. Hopefully we'll get an appointment soon!

Aug 5th I got an email stating my interview date of Sept 2nd - thank gawd! 2 year anniversary coming up in October - 2 years of going through this - I cannot wait for it to be over! I am so doing a happy dance once I get the approval to enter at the border! :)

Yesterday is HISTORY

Tomorrow is a MYSTERY

Today is a GIFT, that's why we call it the PRESENT.

Yes will be so nice to get this process done. We had to keep putting it off as other things kept coming up (6 months of snow, vacations, daughter turning 18, moving all the usual suspects). Now I am so ready for my husband to be here. Everyone says this part of the stage goes faster but I think waiting for the I-130 to be approved was actually easier as we knew we had a long wait so we didn't stress over it. Now................ :whistle::whistle: i am stressing to just be done with it as we are so close. Good luck on your interview and keep us posted. I am still hoping for a September interview. Yippie! I called today and learned that we have our interview scheduled for Sept. 22. I'm still waiting for the email confirmation, but I confirmed twice with the operator at the NVC. I hope this is encouraging news for you and you get your date soon as well.
