I was just wondering how long it aprox took everyone, lately, to get their NVC case #'s after they received their NOA2.

Thanks for the input! :thumbs:

March 2010-We met

3/24/10-4/3/10 Mark's first visit to the US

6/8/10-6/29/10 Mark's second visit to the US

June 2010 We got engaged!

10/6/10-10/16/10 Mark's Third trip to US and our wedding

12/23/10-1/21/10 Mark's fourth trip to US

3/18/11-3/30/11 My first trip to the UK

5/18/11-5/26/11 Mark makes his 5th trip to the US

7/26/11-8/13/11 My hubby is coming out to see me again!! 6th Trip

9/27/11-10/15/11 7th trip to the US for my husband

3/8/11 - Sent I-130 Application

3/9/11 - USCIS received application

3/11/11 - Received NOA1

3/14/11 - Check cashed

3/14/11 - Touched

7/13/11- RFE

7/19/11- RFE sent via USPS over night

7/29/11 - NOA2

8/8/11- NVC Received Case

9/7/11 - Case # and IIN # assigned

9/9/11- Paid AOS fee of $88.00

10/11/11 - NVC Received AOS package

10/14/11 - NVC approved I-864 AOS package

9/13/11 - IV bill received

10/29/11 - IV bill fee paid

12/01/11 - IV packet mailed

12/14/11 - Case complete!!

01/31/12 - Medical Exam

02/07/12 - Interview-Approved!!

03/14/12 - POE - Dallas, TX

mine took 32 days because of NVC backlog...

USCIS: (108 days)
Spouse's Journey (F2A) - USCIS
02/22/2011 - Filed I-130 as F2A
02/28/2011 - Notice of Action 1 (NOA1)
06/16/2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)

NOA2 to NVC (32 days to get Case number)
NVC: (28 days)
07/18/2011 - NVC Received and got NVC case#.
07/18/2011 - Send my Naturalization Certificate via mail and email for upgrading my case from F2A to CR1.
07/19/2011 - Gave both emails to NVC and received IIN#
07/21/2011 - Got confirmation email about changing my petition from F2A to CR1. Up-gradation took 4 business days.
07/29/2011 - AOS Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
07/29/2011 - DS-3032 Email sent to NVC from beneficiary.
08/01/2011 - AOS package invoice shows "PAID" and Package mailed to NVC.
08/02/2011 - DS-3032 received by NVC.
08/03/2011 - IV Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
08/04/2011 - IV Fee Bill invoice shows "PAID" and DS-230 package mailed to NVC.
08/16/2011 - SIF & Case Completed

08/29/2011 - Interview Email.
New Delhi Consulate:
10/06/2011 - Medical Done.
10/17/2011 - Interview Date and Visa Approved !
10/20/2011 - Passport with Visa picked up from local VFS office.
12/16/2011 - P.O.E.
01/19/2012 - Receive Green card in mail

2013-11-13 - Apply for Removal of Conditions.

2013-11-23 - NOA Date

2014-03-27 - Approval.

2014-04-01 - Green Card received.

My NOA2 approval was on 8th July..Till today I haven't got case number..

3-28-2011- Package Received

07-08-2011- NOA2 Status Update(Priority Date)

07-11-2011- NOA2 Hard Copy Received

NVC

8-01-2011- NVC Received

8-22-2011- NVC Case# & IIN Received by email from NVC & E-mails Exchanged (After44 Days)

8-22-2011- DS-3032 Email sent

8-24-2011- DS-3032 mail accepted

8-25-2011- Received Bill & Paid for I-864

8-28-2011- Received Bill & Paid for DS-230

8-29-2011- Paid status for I-864

8-30-2011- Paid status for DS-230

9-02-2011- I-864 Delivered At NVC

9-06-2011- DS-230 Mailed

9-08-2011- I-864 Approved

9-08-2011- DS-230 delivered at NVC

9-13-2011- DS-230 Approved & Case completed

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

VSC approvals still are getting them pretty quick compared to CSC approvals.

It looks like VSC has a separate staff assigning case numbers - all VSC approved got case numbers pretty quickly even during this NVC meltdown. It looks like it affected only CSC approved.

Ann and I had been August 2010 filers and it took about five and a half months for our petition to get approved. However, after that things went quickly. We got an NVC case number two days later and were informed two days after receiving the case number that the petition had been sent to Manila. The Embassy in Manila confirmed receipt of the physical package about a week after it was shipped.

In my case. P2 was July 11 and then NVC says they got my case files on July 29. The case is loaded into NVC computer system and an NVC case number assigned on August 12. So That's 32 days since CIS approval. I have yet to get them convert my case to electronic processing.
