Lina, I was truly sorry to hear of everything that you are going through when you rang me the other night. I wish that I could be there for you more, but you know our circumstances right now. Just remember all that I said. Things do have a way of working out the way they are meant to be, even if that means not the way WE want them to be. Just be strong and give David some space. He could just be scared right now, but without hearing his side of things, its kind of hard to know what it is that he is going through exactly. I pray that he is only scared but will get over it. I strongly suggest that you follow through with the interviews "just incase". If David does change his mind, you will only be kicking yourself later for not having it done and over with and ready to just go over if you know what I mean. But DONT let this get you down Lina. You have too much to live for and too much going for you. Let David see a different side of you. A side that will make him stop and think..."Hey...did I really let her go?". Let him eat his heart out. GO onto the games site that you play on and interact with others that you normally wouldnt. Laugh...don't flirt...just have a good time. If he calls you or im's you, and askes how you are doing, say that you are loving life and having a good time. You tell him that life is too short to sit at home and cry. Go out...treat yourself Lina. You have to make an effort. GOod luck hun and remember..you do have friends close by...Ian and I are here for you...we are only a phone call away...after this week, we should have some more time to spare...sorry we have been so busy but that is just life isnt it?? LOL.

Lots of love....

I don't know you Lena, but this is heart breaking. It really is so common with the distance that you fight more. This is a stressful process, and it takes a toll on us. Everytime I am in Morocco my husband and I get along great but the minute I leave we end up fighting for the next few weeks. Not because we don't love each other, but rather that we are sick of living a life apart. Luckily we both see this and work out the bugs.

I truly hope things work out the best for you.

Big hugs Lena!!! We too fight more when we are apart. In fact I was the one getting stressed at the thought of marriage recently. It helped me a lot that he did not seem to worry too much about my stresses.. but then I was never really thinking of breaking up. All I am trying to say is that being scared on the lead up to marriage would seem to be very normal - whether you are the groom or the bride to be. It is a big commitment and there is a lot to think through. Having now finally arrived in the USA and being with my finace again I feel totally calm again and sure. Hope it all work out for you too soon!!!!!!!!

In terms of practicalities of getting to the interview - have you considered a bus? There may be an overnight one? It should be a lot cheaper and get you there on time.

Hope things work out for you soon - just keeping digging down deep in yourself to find that extra strength you didn't know you had before!!!!!!!!!!

Hugs!

Maggie (F)

UPDATE: well i called the embassy phoneline £1.20/min - the guy looked up m,y case number and the date he has for my interview is 10 December at 10am - although officially i havent got this in writing as they havent repied to my email - so i guess they have postponed it - i only hope David comes to his sences before that.

No news from David as yet:(

Please if there is anyone out there reading this and pray - please pray for David to see sence and to realise that he does love me and to forget the doubts/arguements he may have and to help me to heal through this - I know we can get through this and we were meant to be - help us both to see the right path.

Thank you
