Okay, I'm 18 years old and started my first job about a month and a half ago. I sent out the I-129F in April, got the first NOA and expecting the second one at the end of this month/early next month so I'm starting to try and figure out this form. Everything's fine except question 7. I do not have an annual income because I'm part time (in college also) and I don't make a set amount. Not only that, but I haven't worked a full year. And I definitely do not make 125% of the guidelines. What do I put on that line? And what do I do about not having any tax returns since I've never had to file for taxes?

I plan on having one (or both) of my parents co sponsor for me, so I'm taking they need to fill out a form also. What do they put on the line where you say who you're filling it out for, me or my fiance? And if it is him, what is the relationship?

I feel so stupid. D:

NOA2 probably won't come as quickly as you plan. If you're a freshman/sophomore in college, why try to get married now?! Parents cool with that sponsorship? Speaking as a Daddy, take your time, get your education on track fisrt to hopefully make the money to beat the poverty level! Hey, you may change majors before you graduate, YOU are more important than TWO, right now.

First ... Don't feel Stupid. You made an effort by Filing and now are looking at the Big Picture. Scary.

Your post indicates new to Colledge and 2 months work part-time and No tax Returns. The parents can Co-sponsor with a separate 134 but yours will indicate really nothing as far as support.

If you decide to proceed with the K-1 Petition based upon your own post you have an idea. I would suggest, slow down. To withdraw the petition would be no shame and No love lost. The choice is for a wise man to make.

If you 2 are in Love then it will all happen in time. This might not be the right time as far as Financials.

Co-sponsors are fine for London. Good idea to figure out the paperwork now but you no need to rush or anything as you don't know when you will get your NOA2. (That is, some stuff such as your most recent pay stub you won't be able to get together right now.) You will also be better able to figure out your expected income once you have been working your job a little longer.

Yes get your parents to complete an I-134 too. They will put your fiance's details in question 3 :-) I would write "daughter's fiance" for relationship.

You fill out your own I-134 as the petitioner and primary sponsor. Write an explanation stating why you have never had to legally file taxes, since you are a student and had no income (or not enough to be required to file). Put your current income as what you estimate it to be for the year, and back it up with a letter from your employer and a few months worth of your most recent pay stubs.

Only one of your parents can be the co-sponsor, so have the one that makes the most fill out their own I-134, provide their recent tax returns and W-2s, few months of recent pay stubs, and proof they are a US citizen or green card holder. They can put "Daughter's Fiance" or "Future Son-In-Law" for relationship.

It's not like we just met each other a couple months ago and made an immature decision to rush into things. Yeah I know I'm young, but we've talked it over for over a year now and we know its the right thing to do. We both won't be truly happy until we're together without having to worry about another airport goodbye.

Thank you all a ton for your information. I feel much better about this.
