It differs from state to state. You may look into short term insurance; in Arkansas, BCBS offers this for a max of 180 days and it covers everything other than pre-existing conditions. Once married, you can add her to your health insurance in work, assumking you have this. Do NOT use travel insurance, as they will refuse coverage to an immigrant.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I was hoping someone with a little experience could tell me something about health insurance for a foreign fiancee on K1 visa in the USA.

You can do some research becuase insurance varies from state to state. You can get average insurance quotes from a plethora of resources online. Please bear in mind that, in almost all states, this is only good for 6 months and does not cover pre existing conditions. Some insurance companies offer coverage for pre existing conditions at an added cost

It is not easy to find health insurance with maternity coverage. But if you will search, you'll find the perfect pregnancy insurance
