Hello all,

I just have a quick question regarding the cover letter i composed. I will be filing the I-751 by myself as my marraige ended in divorce. I was hoping toget some advice to see what you guys think as i cannot find an example cover letter.

INDIVIDUAL FILING OF I-751 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OFSTATUS ON :

(K-1 VISA) (MY NAME), A# 0000000000

Dear USCIS examiner :

Enclosed please find a INDIVIDUAL I-751 petition for removal of conditions of permanent resident status regarding myself, (MY NAME). Please also find a check for $590, the fee for this form and the biometrics. I entered the US on a K-1 visa. (Here i was also thinkin gof writing a brief explanation as to why my marraige ended in divorce......good idea or bad idea???)

Enclosed also please find the following documents and evidence to verify that we did marry in good faith.

• Copy of the front and back of my green card

• Certified copy of the divorce decree

• Copies of lease agreements to the apartments we lived in from 3/21/2009 – 5/12/2010

• Copy of letter from the bank manager where we had our joint account

• Copies of our joint filing of taxes and tax return from 2009 and 2010

• Copy of car insurance policy and copy of front and back of car insurance cards from old and new car

• Copies of health insurance policies and names of beneficiaries

• Copy of health insurance cards

• Copy of the title of a car we purchased in 2011 showing joint ownership

• A copy of our airline reservations for the previous vacations we took to England in 2009 and 2010

You may feel free to inquire at any of the sources of enclosed documentation for validity of their statements. Please advise me if you have any further questions or problems related to this petition.

That is basically what i came up with, any opinions will be much appreciated. I do have a couple other things to add on the evidence list such as the photocopy of the check, affadavits etc.
