So... I have the tax transcripts... 2010, 2009, and 2008. Do the transcripts bypass the w2's and other forms? Or do i still need those? I also need to know how the employment letter, letter from employer should start.... How to address it? how to start off the letter? Dear officer? Dear Consul? Dear consulate? Please help, Thanks!

yes if you have the transcript you don't need w2s.

Transcripts eliminate the need for the w-2s.

Addres the letter to the US Consulate in the city and country where you have your interview and we stated "To Whom It May Concern" It really is not too crucial. "Dear Consulate Officer" would also work.

You don't need to submit W-2s if you have your IRS transcripts. My case is a bit different since I filed jointly and the IRS transcripts do not separate the income, therefore, I can submit my W-2s along with the IRS transcripts.

As far as the employment letter - I suggest using "To Whom It May Concern". That way, you can use the employment letter for other purposes. This is just my opinion.

Thanks for your reply. I might as well ask YOU too... another question lol sorry. I forgot about this. I need more clarification for the I-134 affidavit of support. My father is going to help co-sponsor or joint sponsor. What's the best way to do that? and what will he need for his taxes? Thanks
