Trust me he didn't need Iowa yet. He will play there very well later and win that state. Unless he stumbles big time the nod is his and he has never stumbled that badly in any election. He gets challengers every time that are big names and he eats them alive. He is personable. He looks good. He talks good. Men like him and the woman will love him. He has the big time money behind him. The big time money came to him to run. He will win the nomination. And the best part for y'all he will keep the status quo.

This isn't Texas, he's not going to get the same treatment. Think of it as El Paso County all over again. Romney is like him only he has more of those self-same qualities than Perry does. Dr. Paul is outside the fray which gives him the ability to avoid much of the infighting. Bachmann has some serious zealots behind her. Perry is going to be in for the fight of his political life.

Maybe you don't remember the last time Romney ran. He was very wooden and not very personable. In the debates he looked like he was lost The GOP remember this and consider him damaged goods. Bachmann really thought she would get the GOP behind her and get the powers to back her but they decided to back Perry. They don't want Bachmann to get the nod. She can still make waves but will have to do so on what she brings in herself. She has a lot of rabid fans but they can only give so much.Ron Paul is the same. The GOP will never give him anything. They even run a well funded person for the GOP primary in his own district to try to unseat him. We reelect Paul anyway by a huge margin but the GOP spends a lot trying to unseat him anyway every election.
